SERIES AT A GLANCE: The Flying Squirrels will look for the second straight win against the Bowie Baysox in game three of a four-game series at The Diamond tonight. Last night, Chris Dominguez belted a grand slam, the third in franchise history, and Chris Heston (3-2) allowed just one unearned run on five hits in seven innings pitched as Richmond topped Bowie 6-1. It was the second home run of the season for Dominguez and the former Louisville standout now has hit two of the three grand slams in Flying Squirrels history. Gary Brown and Ryan Cavan each contributed two hits to the cause and the Flying Squirrels now sit just one game below .500 for the season. The Flying Squirrels went 9-16 against Bowie in 2011 including a 6-6 mark at The Diamond.

Richmond is 29-33 all-time against Bowie and the club is 17-15 all-time in the River City. The two teams will meet 24 times in 2012, 10 times in Bowie and 14 times in Richmond. Richmond won two out of three games between the two clubs in Bowie April 9-11 and the two teams split a four-game series at The Diamond last week (4/30-5/3). Following this four-game series, the two teams will meet again at Bowie's Prince George's Stadium for a four-game set May 21 through May 24.

TODAY'S PITCHERS: LHP Mike Kickham vs. RHP Zach Clark Kickham: Makes his seventh start of the season for the Flying Squirrels tonight. In his last start, Kickham allowed five hits and three earned runs along with four walks and two strikeouts in 4.2 innings pitched at Altoona Sunday. He took the loss in Richmond's 4-1 setback. Tonight's game will be his third career start against Bowie. He is 0-1 with a 2.57 ERA (2 ER/7.0 IP) against the Baysox He currently ranks third in the Eastern League in walks (20. Last season, Kickham went 5-10 and posted a 4.11 ERA in 21 starts with Low-A Augusta. He entered the 2012 season ranked as the #20 prospect in the Giants farm system. As a professional, Kickham owns a 6-13 record with a 4.13 ERA in 30 career minor league appearances, including 27 starts. Kickham enjoyed a successful, albeit brief, career at Missouri State University, where he finished fifth in school history in single-season strikeouts (106) and won the team's Dave Dickensheet Pitcher-of-the-Year award in his lone season with the Bears. The St. Louis, MO native was selected by the Giants in the sixth round of the 2010 June Draft as a draft-eligible sophomore. He signed with San Francisco for a $410,000 bonus.

Clark: Makes his seventh start of the season tonight. In his last appearance, Clark allowed six hits and three earned runs along with two walks and two strikeouts in six innings pitched against Akron Sunday. He took the loss in Bowie's 5-0 setback. The right-hander spent the entire 2011 season with Bowie. In 24 appearances, including 23 starts, Clark posted a 10-9 record with a 5.00 ERA. He was named Eastern league Pitcher-of-the Week for the week of April 25 through May 2, 2011. He split the 2010 campaign between four Baltimore affiliates, Low-A Delmarva, Advanced-A Frederick, Bowie and Triple-A Norfolk. In 30 combined appearances, including 15 starts, Clark compiled a 3-9 record with one save and a 4.29 ERA. In 149 career minor league appearances, including 96 starts, Clark owns a 36-39 record with three saves and a 3.97 ERA. He was signed by the Orioles as a non-drafted free agent on May 26, 2006 out of the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.

CAPACITY CROWDS: Last night's sell-out was the 21st in franchise history and the second in 2012. The Flying Squirrels also welcomed the 1,000,000th fan in franchise history. Richmond hosted 13 sell-out crowds during the franchise's inaugural campaign in 2010 and six sellouts last season. The Flying Squirrels currently lead the Eastern League in attendance with 94,677 fans for an average of 5,917 fans per game. In 2010, Richmond led the circuit in attendance with 463, 842 fans for an average attendance of 6,626.

Last season, Richmond attracted 447, 520 fans (6,679 per game), which was second-best in the Eastern League behind Reading.

LOUISVILLE SLUGGER: Chris Dominguez' third-inning grand slam in last night's game was the third of his professional career.

Dominguez, a former two-time Big East Conference Player-of-the-Year at the University of Louisville, smacked his first professional grand slam as a member of the Low-A Augusta GreenJackets on July 24, 2010 in a game against the Hickory Crawdads. Last season, Dominguez hit the first grand slam in Flying Squirrels history on June 27 against Harrisburg. Francisco Peguero hit the second grand slam in club history on July 5, 2011 against the Trenton Thunder.

ME GUSTA MAYORA: After going 1-for-4 with a run scored last night, Daniel Mayora extended his current hit streak to seven games. He is hitting .375 (9-for-24) over the course of the streak with three doubles, three RBIs and four runs scored. Mayora has a team-leading 12 multi-hit games on the season and he owns the longest hit streak of any Flying Squirrel in 2012, a nine-game streak, which began April 14 and was snapped on April 25. In his first season in the Giants organization, the veteran third baseman is hitting .308 with 15 RBIs.
