----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look to extend their longest winning streak of the season as they take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the third game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, Erie collected a season-high three home runs en route to a 7-3 win over the Curve. Every hit for the SeaWolves was an extra-base hit. Erie has now won three consecutive games over the Curve and have won five of the last seven in the season series...Righty James Avery takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his seventh start of the season second against the Curve. Avery took a loss in his last start at Akron. In the game, he allowed four runs on six hits with two walks and a strikeout in two innings of work. It was his shortest outing of the season. Erie lost the game 4-1. Avery tossed a complete game shutout on May 3 against Altoona...RHP Brandon Cumpton takes the mound for the Curve making his seventh start and third against the SeaWolves. Cumpton is 1-1 in his previous two starts against the 'Wolves. He has won four consecutive games. In his last start against Richmond, Cumpton allowed a run on three hits with a walk and four strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work...The SeaWolves will remain at home following the Altoona series as they welcome Akron for a three-game series beginning on Monday night.
