Florida Panthers Return Scott Timmins to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (April 8, 2013) - Florida Panthers Executive VP/General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has returned on loan forward Scott Timmins to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). In conjunction, the Rampage have returned forward Garrett Wilson to the Cincinnati Cyclones, the club's ECHL affiliate.
Timmins, 23, suited up in two games for the Panthers in his second call-up of the season, recording 20:32 of ice time between the two games. The 5-foot-11, 191-pound forward has now played in 22 career NHL games. Timmins has tallied 11 goals and 11 assists in 60 games for the Rampage this season. The Hamilton, Ontario native was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the sixth round (165th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Wilson, 22, suited up in 26 games for the Rampage this season, tallying three goals and two assists along with 19 penalty minutes. At the time of his call-up to the Rampage on Feb. 4, Wilson led the Cyclones with 19 goals in 38 games. The 6-foot-3, 218-pound forward was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the fourth round (107th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rampage will travel to Houston for a two-game series on Thursday and Saturday in the team's final two road games of the year. Puck drop for both contests against the Aeros is 7:05 p.m. The Silver and Black will return home on Sunday for a 3:30 p.m. tilt against the Texas Stars in the final Express-News Sunday Funday of the season.
