Florida Panthers Recall F Joey Crabb and D Mike Mottau

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled F Joey Crabb and D Mike Mottau from San Antonio (AHL).

Crabb, 30, has played in 53 games for the San Antonio Rampage this season recording 26 points (12-14-26), as well as appearing in one game with the Panthers. The Anchorage, AK native has tallied 52 points (20-32-52) and 93 PIMs in 171 career NHL games played with Atlanta (2008-09), Toronto (2010-12), Washington (2012-13) and Florida (2013-14).

Mottau, 35, has played in seven games with Florida this season, while also appearing in 15 games with San Antonio registering three points (1-2-3). He has played in 320 career NHL games with the NY Rangers (2000-02), Calgary (2002-03), New Jersey (2007-10), NY Islanders (2010-12), Boston (2012) and Florida (2013-14), recording 58 points (7-51-58) and 160 PIM.

Florida hosts the Phoenix Coyotes tonight at BB&T Center at 7:30 p.m. The game can be seen live on Fox Sports Florida and heard on 560 WQAM and ESPN 106.3 FM.
