July 13, 2016 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Beloit Sky Carp News Release

BELOIT, Wisc- The Beloit Snappers are pleased to announce the return of Seth Flolid as General Manager, effective immediately.

The Chanhassen, MN native began as the Snappers' Director of Operations in January of 2014 and was promoted to Assistant General Manager during the 2014 season. He was then promoted once again to General Manager in October of 2015 before he left to pursue other opportunities in February.

Flolid returns to the Snappers after the organization has increased corporate sales and attendance over the last few years. He is also looking forward to maintaining the relationships within the community that he made before, along with making even more. "I am excited to be back in Beloit and working with the Snappers," Flolid says of his return to the team. "There was a feeling of leaving home when I left Beloit, as I had met so many great people and created so many strong relationships during my time here."

After being away from the Snappers organization for five months, Flolid returns with the same passion and commitment to the team as he had before. "There was such a strong momentum behind the Snappers when I departed. I began to feel like I had left some unfinished business here," Flolid said.

Team President, Dennis Conerton stated "The Board of Directors and I are very pleased to welcome Seth back to the Snappers organization. He will be well received by all of our fans and sponsors, whom he has become familiar with over the last couple seasons."

The Snappers continue with great weekday promotions. The ever popular Monster Deal Monday, Two Dollar Tuesday, and Tap Takeovers on Wednesdays have returned this year while new ones have also been added.

Not only are the Snappers a great provider of affordable, family fun, but you can continue to see future Major Leaguers at Pohlman Field. Beloit Professional Baseball has had 193 former players go on to play in the Big Leagues over its 35 year history.

Even though the organization is enjoying a great season, on and off the diamond, Flolid wants the Snappers to continue to grow as a steady staple within the community. "As I move forward with the Snappers, the goal is to continue to establish ourselves as not only a hidden gem, but the premier destination on the Stateline," Flolid said.

The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League and are a fourth year Class-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.
