April 3, 2009
Quick Change
Tonight's halftime show promises to be the best one this season. One of the most original and astonishing magic acts ever seen. During a non-stop, dynamic, superbly choreographed dance exhibition, Quick Change puzzles a flabbergasted audience with flashing costume transformations which happen in front of your eyes in fractions of a second. The metamorphosis is simply unbelievable. Don't miss it TONIGHT.
The Records
Utah is 27-16 overall and 15-7 at home. Albuquerque is 23-21, 9-12 on the road.
Need Two
Regardless of what happens in other games around the league, two victories will clinch a playoff spot for the Flash. Utah currently sits atop the NBADL West Division, one-half game ahead of the Idaho Stampede. The playoffs will include the three division winners and the five next best records, regardless of division.
Last Meeting
Ronald Dupree and Dontell Jefferson scored 19 points apiece to lead Utah to a 102-94 win March 6 at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque.
Six Straight at 50
The Flash has shot at least 50-percent from the floor for six consecutive games, dating back to a victory over Reno on March 18. Over that span Utah has converted 244-of-455 field goal attempts (53.6%), averaging 40.7 field goals made and 65.0 field goals attempted, and won five of the six games.
Get the Point
Flash full and part time point guards Kevin Kruger, Ryan Diggs and Andre Ingram will have their hands full with Albuquerque point guard Will Conroy. With 13 double-doubles, Conroy also leads the league in scoring (26.0 pg), minutes played (44.8 pg), free throws made (6.2 pg) and free throws attempted (9.0 pg).
Friday Night's All Right for Hoopin'
The Flash is a hefty 13-2 in games played on Friday nights this season. The only day of the week where Utah has a better winning percentage is on Tuesdays, when the Flash is a perfect 7-0.
