Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that forward Greg Nemisz has been recalled from

Abbotsford (AHL) to Calgary (NHL).

#15 GREG NEMISZ - FORWARD

BORN: Courtice, Ontario DATE: June 5, 1990

HEIGHT: 6'3" WEIGHT: 205 lbs.

SHOOTS: Right

DRAFTED: Calgary Flames 1 st round, 25 th overall, in the 2008 Entry Draft.

Nemisz, a native of Courtice, Ontario, played his first NHL game of the season on December 10th in the Flames 3-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers. He has seven goals and 11 assists in 28 games with the Heat which puts him fourth in team scoring this season.

The Heat is in Grand Rapids tonight with puck drop slated for 4:00 PM PST with the pre-game show starting at 3:45 PST on theAHL.com. Country 107.1 will join action live at 5:00 PST.
