B-Sens Blanked by Devils, 3-0

ALBANY, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators were dismissed for their Christmas break following a frustrating 3-0 loss to the Albany Devils at the Times Union Center on Wednesday night.

Keith Kinkaid turned aside all 36 B-Sens shots to earn his first shutout of the season as he improved to 7-6-0. Vladimir Zharkov led the Devils' offense scoring a goal and adding a pair of assists.

Joe Sova and Zharkov gave the Devils a 2-0 lead over Binghamton, scoring goals at 2:46 and 4:24 of the second period respectively.

Nick Palmieri added an empty net tally with 1:28 remaining in regulation.

Mike McKenna made his fourth consecutive start in goal for the B-Sens, stopping 41 of 43 shots.

The B-Sens are back in action on Monday, Dec. 26 as they host the Devils at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $18.50 for side seating, $17.50 for end seating.
