
Phantoms Add Bourbeau on PTO

Adirondack Phantoms News Release
The Adirondack Phantoms have announced that they have signed LW Jean Bourbeau to a Professional Tryout contract, according to head coach Joe Paterson. Bourbeau will wear #25.
The 28-year-old hails from Jon Kalinski's hometown of Bonnyville, Alberta. The Phantoms acquired him from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL where he has played in 26 games this season scoring four goals and seven assists with 28 penalty minutes. Bourbeau is a 6'0", 200 pound right-handed shooter.
Last year, Bourbeau spent most of the season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL. He played in 44 games scoring three goals and five assists. He also played in three games with Bridgeport in 2009-10. And he also played all of 2008-09 and most of 2009-10 with the Odessa (Tex.) Jackalopes of the CHL to begin his professional career. Bourbeau scored 10 goals and 25 points in his rookie season and then followed it up with 12 goals and 21 points in 2009-10.
Bourbeau played collegiately for four seasons at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick of the CIS from 2004-08.
