
Flames Join in McHappy Day Celebration

Saint John, NB â The Saint John Flames will be joining other local personalities next week to help McDonald's celebrate McHappy Day 2002 in the Saint John area.
Several Flames are scheduled to appear between 5 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, at the McDonald's at Lancaster Mall, McAllister Drive, Brunswick Square, Wal-Mart, Main Street and Quispamsis. They will join a number of local celebrities helping out behind the counters and around the restaurants promoting McHappy Day.
With every order of a Big Mac, a Breakfast Bagel or a Happy Meal during McHappy Day, one dollar will be donated to Ronald McDonald Children's Charities and the Saint John Boys & Girls Club. Locally, 50% of all funds raised this year will be going to support the Boys & Girls Club of Saint John.
The Flames are in action this week visiting the Manchester Monarchs (Friday, 8:35 PM), Springfield Falcons (Saturday, 8:35 PM) and Lowell Lock Monsters (Sunday, 5:00 PM). All Flames road games are broadcast live on 96.1 NewSong FM in Saint John. All times listed are Saint John time.

The 2002-03 season marks the Saint John Flames' tenth as a member of the AHL and as the primary development organization of the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames.
