Flames Assign Granlund to Stockton

Stockton Heat News Release
Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned Markus Granlund (C) to their AHL affiliate Stockton Heat. Calgary has also placed Paul Byron (C) and Mason Raymond (C) on waivers.
Calgary has 26 players remaining at training camp (3x goalies, 8x defencemen, 15x forwards).
The Flames will open up the regular season at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Wednesday, October 7th against the Vancouver Canucks.
