
Five Home Runs Drown out Mustangs 11-8

Billings, MT - After the Billings Mustangs defeated the Missoula Paddleheads on a knock out round yesterday, the Paddleheads would crush five home runs en route to an 11-8 victory.
Missoula collected a pair of two run home runs from Cam Thompson and Clay Fisher in the first two innings to lead 4-0.
The Mustangs would go on to score four unanswered runs to tie the game in the fourth inning. In the second, Chris Eusay singled home Freddy Achecar to put the Stangs on the board. A three run third inning ensued that was highlighted by a Anthony Amicangelo fielders choice that scored two. Both teams were square at four after three innings.
The Paddleheads offense came back to life once again with three runs in the fourth inning. Cam Thompson tripled in a run before Clay Fisher hit his second home run of the ballgame. He now has 16 on the season which is tied for the team lead with Zach Almond.
Billings would get a few runs late. Tristen Carranza two-run home run in the seventh and a Cameron Comer solo-home run in the eighth inning put the Mustangs back within striking distance before they fell 11-8.
Clay Fisher collected three hits in his second multi-home run game of the season. Cam Thompson and Brandon Riley also collected three hits in the game today. The 1-3 hitters went for a combined 9-13 with four home runs and 10 RBI.
There were a total of seven home runs in the ballgame.
The Mustangs (32-36/14-6) and the Missoula Paddleheads (47-21/12-8) meet the final game of the series tomorrow. First pitch for 6:35 PM and don't forget to catch the pre-game show starting at 6:15 P.M. on ESPN Billings 910 AM/105.5 FM or online at espn910.com.
