New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release


Manchester, NH- The Toronto Blue Jays have announced a roster change for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats of the AA Eastern League. Infielder Danny Solano has been promoted to the Syracuse Sky Chiefs of the AAA International League. His roster spot has been filled with the activation of Catcher Victor Valencia from the disabled list. Catcher Jose Umbria joins Right Handed Pitcher John Ogiltree on the temporarily inactive list. Ogiltree is currently playing for the Canadian National Team in the Summer Olympics.

In a related move, the Toronto Blue Jays have placed utility man, and former Fisher Cat, Stubby Clapp and Outfielder Jeff Guiel on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats temporarily inactive list. Clapp and Guiel are also representing Canada in the Olympic Games. The Fisher Cats active roster now stands at 21.
