The B-Mets are back in town after a hard fought split in Trenton for a quick four-game-three-day homestand.
Stump Merrill and the Trenton Thunder roll into NYSEG stadium tonight to take on the B-Mets. The B-Mets are locked in a first place tie with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, and look to break away from the pack down the homestretch.
There's a lot planned at the ballpark, including a Jimmy Buffett Tribute, Fireworks and more!!!
FIREWORKS presented by CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO and NEWSCHANNEL 34 (Fri., August 6th - 5PM) - Enjoy two games for the price of one with a doubleheader against the AA Yankees followed by fireworks.
JIMMY BUFFETT SALUTE and FIREWORKS presented by CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO, MINCOLLA and NEWSCHANNEL 34 (Sat., August 7th - 7PM) -NYSEG Stadium becomes Margaritaville for the evening with the 1st 3,000 fans receiving FREE Leis. The B-Mets will wear a special edition Jimmy Buffett-style jersey. After the game, we will auction off the jerseys with proceeds going to the Day Nursery Association.
Making a special appearance Saturday night are the folks from the Margaritaville Shrimp Company will be here sampling the goods!
BUDDY'S KNOT-HOLE GANG presented by PONDEROSA, TOYS R US & TIME WARNER CABLE + MAGIC 101.7 FUN RUN + SENIOR $3 SUNDAY (Sun., August 8th - 1:30PM)-The B-Mets kids' club membership entitles youngsters 14 & under to FREE admission. Stop by any of the sponsors' locations or check Sunday's newspaper for your card. After the game, children can take the field and run the bases. Seniors, 60 & over, pay only $3 to see the ball game.
