Manchester, NH- The Fisher Cats travel to Norwich, CT, today to begin a three game series with the Navigators (AA Affiliate of the San Francisco Giants). This begins a crucial run of games against some of the top teams in the Eastern League. The Navigators are currently 5 1/2 games behind New Hampshire/Binghamton Mets and are battling for a playoff spot in the North Division. New Hampshire and Binghamton are tied for first place at this time.

The Fisher Cats then return home on Tuesday, August 10, to battle the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in a three game set. Altoona currently rests atop the South Division by 7 games. The Binghamton Mets then come to Gill Stadium for three games beginning August 13 before the Fisher Cats travel to Binghamton to complete their final series with the Mets on August 16.

Make no doubt about it, this is an important stretch of games for the Fisher Cats. The fans have propelled this team all year and the Fisher Cats players need the fans' "10th Man" support more than ever.
