The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes return home to Volcanoes Stadium this Wednesday to open a five-game homestand versus the Yakima Bears (affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks). The Volcanoes have been on a surge recently and look to compete for the second half title. Make plans now to see the team during this exciting homestand.

Wednesday, July 27th - The Volcanoes open a five-game homestand against the Yakima Bears, affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. It will be Faith & Family Night. Bring your Church group for an evening of socializing, fellowship and just plain fun watching the Volcanoes battle the Yakima Bears. It will also be Stayton Community Appreciation Night. Stayton residents can receive an outfield seat for just $5.00 for this game, a savings of $3.00 off normal day of game admission, by showing proof of residence - driver's license, utility bill, etc! AND, it's the third of five, $1.00 Family Feast Nights. A super promotion where fans can purchase Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Soda and/or an Ice Cream for just $1.00 each!!! Friday, July 29th, 6th Annual "Striking Out Meth in Marion County Night" Game Time 7:05pm, Gates Open 5:30pm. Sponsored by the Marion County Public Safety Coordinating Council. After the game there will be a fantastic Fireworks Show sponsored by US Bank. See Marion County Sheriff Jason Myers arrive by helicopter, plus police, fire and safety vehicles, AND the Volcanoes will be wearing their Striking Out Meth in Marion County Game Jerseys! Pre-game activities will also include a canine demonstration at 6:45pm, Sheriff Jason Myers arrival by helicopter on-the-field at 6:53pm, and the Bomb Robot delivering the game ball to the Volcanoes pitcher at 7:05pm. College of Hair Design Careers will be at the Stadium doing free facials, hair extensions and much more.

Saturday, July 30th - It will also be Wilsonville Community Appreciation Night. All kids, with a ticket to this game, will be invited to a free baseball clinic with the Volcanoes players on-the-field prior to the game from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. It will be another Kid's Eat FREE Sunday. Kids 12 & under, will receive a FREE hotdog, pop and popcorn. It will also be Silverton Community Appreciation Night. Monday-Saturday, August 1-6 - 14U Babe Ruth Northwest Regional Tournament. The Keizer Knights and Volcanoes Stadium will host the week-long tournament featuring State Champions from Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon and teams from British Columbia and Alberta, along with the host Keizer Knights. The tournament will feature 4 Oregon teams: Salem Steelheads, Southern Oregon State Champions, Mound Time from Beaverton and the Keizer Knights. The winner of this tournament will advance to the Babe Ruth World Series in Virginia.

Sunday, August 7th - The Volcanoes open a three-game series against in-state rivals, the Eugene Emeralds. It's National Kids Day and Senior's $1.00 Meal Day. Kid's Eat FREE Sunday...kids 12 & under, will receive a FREE hotdog, pop and popcorn. It will also be Senior Sunday with special $1.00 Senior Meal Deals! Tuesday, August 9th - New Yankees Legend, Don Larsen Night! The great Yankee pitcher from the 1950's will be at Volcanoes Stadium to meet and greet fans and sign Free Autographs. Larsen is the only player in Major League Baseball history to throw a perfect game in the World Series! Larsen's teammates included Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, & Whitey Ford. In addition, Larsen pitched for the San Francisco Giants, in the 1960's, and played with greats like Willie Mays, Juan Marichal, Willie McCovey, & Orlando Cepeda. Meet a true baseball legend, Don Larsen on Tuesday, August 9th at Volcanoes Stadium.
