The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes return home to Volcanoes Stadium this Wednesday to open a five-game homestand versus the Yakima Bears (affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks). The Volcanoes have been on a surge recently and look to compete for the second half title. Make plans now to see the team during this exciting homestand.
Wednesday, July 27th - The Volcanoes open a five-game homestand against the Yakima Bears, affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. It will be Faith & Family Night. Bring your Church group for an evening of socializing, fellowship and just plain fun watching the Volcanoes battle the Yakima Bears. It will also be Stayton Community Appreciation Night. Stayton residents can receive an outfield seat for just $5.00 for this game, a savings of $3.00 off normal day of game admission, by showing proof of residence - driver's license, utility bill, etc! The Keizer Knights and Volcanoes Stadium will host the week-long tournament featuring State Champions from Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon and teams from British Columbia and Alberta, along with the host Keizer Knights. The tournament will feature 4 Oregon teams: Salem Steelheads, Southern Oregon State Champions, Mound Time from Beaverton and the Keizer Knights. The winner of this tournament will advance to the Babe Ruth World Series in Virginia.
Sunday, August 7th - The Volcanoes open a three-game series against in-state rivals, the Eugene Emeralds. It's National Kids Day and Senior's $1.00 Meal Day.
