Wenatchee AppleSox News Release
WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee AppleSox will host their annual Fireworks Game, Friday July 3, following the final out of the first game of a three-game series with the Klamath Falls Gems. The evening's festivities kick off when gates open at the ballpark at 6 p.m., and the postgame fireworks display is sponsored by Edward Jones.
Fireworks Night at the ballpark will provide a safe and enjoyable way for residents of the Wenatchee Valley and surrounding community to enjoy Fourth of July festivities, without the worry of fire-safety hazards.
After this past weekend's events, the AppleSox are hopeful that fans and community members can use the professionally-produced fireworks show at Paul Thomas Sr. Field as a substitute for the use of recreational fireworks in and around the City of Wenatchee.
Tickets for Fireworks Night are still available and can be purchased at www.applesox.com/tickets or by calling the AppleSox at 509-665-6900. Pricing starts at $6. The AppleSox open a six-game home series Friday night, and many of the stadium's seats are located in the shade - a perfect place to escape the heat.
