Frederick Keys News Release
FREDERICK, MD - The Frederick Keys return to Nymeo Field from Thursday, May 18-Sunday, May 21 when the Salem Red Sox come to town. Highlights include the first fireworks show of the season, a bobblehead giveaway as well as a celebration of one of the greatest franchises in movie history. To book tickets, fans can call the Keys at 301-815-9939 or visit frederickkeys.com.
Thursday night is National High Five Day at 7:00 p.m. with gates opening one hour prior. This leads into a fun weekend. Fans will want to arrive at six for the Keys game on Friday night as the team celebrates another Mystery Night. The first 750 fans through the gates receive a mystery bobblehead. Collected from teams all across major league and minor league sports, the bobblehead list includes Frank Robinson, Ken Griffey Jr., Cal Ripken Jr., Clayton Kershaw, Tim Tebow, Joel Embiid, Charlie Brown and the Royal Couple.
Fans can also purchase Mystery Balls along the first base concourse for $10. All proceeds go to Frederick Keys Care. There is a limit of four mystery balls per person. Mystery balls usually sell out within 20 minutes of gates opening and individuals interested in purchasing one or more should plan to arrive early. After the game, fans can enjoy a fireworks super show sponsored by Mattress Warehouse.
Saturday's game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. against the Red Sox with gates opening at noon. The Keys celebrate Star Wars Day and fans can meet their favorite characters on the concourse. A special Stars Wars groups package is available as well. For $20 fans receive a lightsaber, reserved seat, hot dog, chips and drink. For more information, fans can call 301-815-9900.
The quick four-game set concludes with Easter Sunday. To celebrate, a special Easter Brunch is available in the Mattress Warehouse Club. To purchase a ticket, fans can contact the Group Sales Department. Additionally, an Easter Egg hunt is slated to take place on the outfield before the game.
Coinciding with Easter is Kids Takeover Day and Sunday Funday sponsored by Dogtopia of Frederick. From 12-12:30, fans can enjoy a catch in the outfield and get autographs from two Keys players on the concourse.
