ABOUT LAST GAME: Columbia took the third game of the series on Monday, defeating Greenville, 6-4. The Fireflies are now 4-2 on their seven-game road trip which finishes Tuesday afternoon.

TEAM EFFORT: Eight of the nine Fireflies hitters on Monday reached base safely. J.C. Rodriguez and Milton Ramos recorded multi-hit nights and Dash Winningham and Ramos each drove in a pair of runs.

DEJA VU: The last time Columbia was in Greenville, the Fireflies won three of four games. With a win on Tuesday, the visitors can accomplish the same feat at Fluor Field

BIRTHDAY K-AKE: Alex Palsha celebrated his 24th birthday a day early on Monday night. The reliever picked up his team-leading third save of the season and struck out two batters in 1.2 innings of work. He has the highest SO:9 IP ratio (14.7) in the South Atlantic League.

WALK THIS WAY: Greenville first baseman, Josh Ockimey (26), and Columbia second baseman, Vinny Siena (22), lead the South Atlantic League in walks.

LUPO'S LAUNCHING PAD: Columbia outfielder Vicente Lupo starts in left field on Tuesday. Lupo was with the previous Mets South Atlantic League affiliate, the Savannah Sand Gnats, in 2015. Lupo has yet to smack his first long ball this year, but while facing the Drive on July 5, 2015, the Venezuelan blasted an estimated 462-foot home run over the center field wall at Fluor Field.

THE OTHER GUYS: The Drive lead the South Atlantic League in triples (14) and home runs (28).
