
Shorebirds' Next Homestand Runs May 12-18

SALISBURY, MD -- The Delmarva Shorebirds make their return to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium on Thursday, May 12 for a seven-game homestand. The slate features four games against the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Miami Marlins affiliate) and the team's first series of 2016 against the West Virginia Power (Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate).
A number of big events are planned during the homestand including a Ryan Minor bobblehead presented by Dry-Tek Environmental on Friday, May 13 and the annual PRMC Pink Pitch Night on May 14 that will feature a postgame Q105 Fireworks Show presented by Allen Harim.
All seven games feature promotions to help fans get the most out of a night at the ballpark.
Thursday, May 12 vs. Greensboro Grasshoppers - 7:05 p.m.
The Shorebirds return home on a Thirsty Thursday presented by University Village at Salisbury. Fans will be able to enjoy 16 oz. cans of Coors Light and Miller Lite, as well as 16 oz. Pepsi products, for just $2 each all night long.
Friday, May 13 vs. Greensboro Grasshoppers - 7:05 p.m.
The first 1,000 fans to enter the ballpark on Friday will receive a bobblehead of Shorebirds manager Ryan Minor courtesy of Dry-Tek Environmental. Fans are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to receive one, and gates will open at 6 p.m.
For those looking to celebrate the start of the weekend, the game will also be a Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. 32 oz. Coors Light and Miller Lite drafts are just $6 each.
Finally, the contest will mark another Orange Friday. All fans are encouraged to wear orange, and the Shorebirds will join in by wearing their orange alternate jerseys.
Saturday, May 14 vs. Greensboro Grasshoppers - 7:05 p.m.
The fun starts early before every Saturday game with the Fun Zone outside of the stadium from 5-7 p.m. Activities include a number of inflatables and games from Barton's, a player autograph station from 5:30-6 p.m., music and more.
Saturday's game will serve as the annual PRMC Pink Pitch Night at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The Shorebirds will wear special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game with proceeds benefiting the Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute.
Stick around postgame, as the skies will be lit up with a Q105 Fireworks Show presented by Allen Harim.
Sunday, May 15 vs. Greensboro Grasshoppers - 2:05 p.m.
The Shorebirds' series with the Grasshoppers concludes on a Strike Out Hunger Sunday. Fans who bring two canned food items for donation to the Perdue Stadium box office will receive a $3 general admission ticket.
Members of the Junior 'Birds Kids Club presented by Eastern Shore McDonald's will have the opportunity to run the bases following the game thanks to Chili's Grill and Bar.
Monday, May 16 vs. West Virginia Power - 7:05 p.m.
Monday's series opener with the West Virginia Power marks another 47ABC Two Buck Monday. All general admission tickets, hot dogs and 16 oz. Pepsi products will be just $2 each. No coupon is required.
Tuesday, May 17 vs. West Virginia Power - 7:05 p.m.
Every Tuesday during the 2016 season is a Two For Tuesday presented by Eastern Shore McDonald's. Fans who bring a receipt from a local McDonald's restaurant to the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium box office can receive a buy one, get one free offer on general admission tickets. Fans can also receive this offer by showing that they follow @EasternShoreMcD on Twitter at the box office.
All Tuesday contests also feature a Tweet Your Seat contest for a chance to win a prize pack courtesy of Eastern Shore McDonald's.
Wednesday, May 18 vs. West Virginia Power - 10:35 a.m.
On Wednesday, the Shorebirds will welcome students from all over the Peninsula for a Field of Dreams game presented by Three Lower Counties. This contest, which features a 10:35 a.m. start time, provides a unique experience that combines education and baseball.
The game will also mark another Silver Sluggers day presented by Coastal Home Care. This affordable ticket plan for seniors features tickets to all Wednesday home games.
All fans in attendance can play Baseball Bingo for their chance to win a prize from the Shorebirds.
