ABOUT LAST GAME: The Fireflies dropped Wednesday's game to Greenville, 7-1. Hansel Moreno slashed a pair of hits including a double.
WHAT'S AT STAKE: The Fireflies must defeat Greenville on Thursday to win the series. Columbia started the season 5-0 against the Drive, including a three-game sweep at Fluor Field from April 16-18. Greenville later swept Columbia at Spirit Communications Park from July 4-6.
STREAKIN': Matt Winaker smacked a single off of Drive righty Eduard Bazardo on Wed. and stretched his on-base streak to 19 straight games.

DIVISION RIVALS: Thursday is the 12th meeting this season between COL and GVL. Among current players on the roster, Hansel Moreno and Pedro Castellanos have had the most success at the plate in the series and coincidentally enough, each had terrific nights at the dish on Wednesday:
