ABOUT LAST GAME: The Fireflies fell to Hickory on Saturday, 4-1. Scott Manea blasted a solo home run in the fifth inning, his 2nd of the season.
ANALYTICS: Manea's home run was a no doubter from the moment it left the bat in the fifth:
Distance: 415 feet Exit Velocity: 106 mph
MON-STARS: Columbia's offense has been arguably the best in the league through the season's first 16 games. Check out Columbia's SAL rankings:

He is one of the most patient hitters in the SAL, too - tied for first in the league in walks (15). The 21-year-old is also second in the league with a .456 on-base percentage.
PUNCH-BACK: The Fireflies don't waste time answering their opponents. Over the last seven games, Columbia's opponents have scored in 17 individual innings. Columbia has answered with runs in the next frame nine of those 17 times! More than half the time over the last seven games the Fireflies respond with offense immediately.
KEEP HITTIN': Rigoberto Terrazas hits sixth this afternoon against Hickory. The switch-hitter tied a franchise record when he hit safely in 11 straight games from April 9-20. The only other Firefly to record an 11-game hit streak was David Thompson over the first 11 games of the '16 season (April 7-17).
HITS THE GROUND RUNNING: Mets 2016 first round draft choice Anthony Kay makes his third start of the season on Sunday. Baseball America's Kyle Glaser profiled Kay's start to the 2018 season.
