Firebirds Acquire 2023 7th Round Pick from Oshawa for F Ty Petrou

Flint, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds announced today they have traded F Ty Petrou to the Oshawa Generals in exchange for a 2023 7th round draft pick.

Petrou was a 4th round pick (#72 overall) of Flint back in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection. He scored 3 G and 9 A in 43 GP for the Firebirds last season.

The season opener is ALMOST HERE as the puck drops on Saturday, October 1 at 7:00 p.m. against the Niagara IceDogs. Single game tickets are on sale NOW, available at Etix.com or in-person at the Dort Financial Center Box Office.

Additionally, season memberships remain on sale and new members still have time to select their seats. Memberships start as low as $12 per game or $408 for the full season.
