Macon Mayhem News Release
The Fayetteville FireAntz defeated the Macon Mayhem 3-1 Tuesday night in Fayetteville. It was the second to last game of the regular season for the Mayhem.
Sy Nutkevitch, playing his first game for Fayetteville, had a goal and assist, and opened the scoring at 16:58 of the first period. Stephen Pierog had the only goal of the second period and tied the game for the Mayhem at 1-1.
Nicholas Rivait scored at 4:35 of the third period, and Joseph Manno gave Fayetteville an insurance goal with 2:41 left to play.
The Mayhem will conclude the regular season at Columbus on Friday. A Mayhem victory will assure Macon of a playoff berth in its inaugural season.
