Final Week to Register for the Shiver on the River

It's the final week to register for the 25th Annual Saginaw Spirit Shiver on the River Walleye Contest brought to you by the Dow Chemical Company. Registration will end on Friday January 27, 2012 at 9pm. Registration forms can be picked up at one of the following locations: Saginaw Spirit Store, Gander Mountain, Cox's Bait & Tackle, K&K Park Store, Old Town Party Store, Michigan Sportsmen, Frank's Great Outdoors or online at www.saginawspirit.com/shiver. The cost to enter the contest is $10.00 in person or $12.00 online & all each registered angler will receive a FREE Do-Jigger.

The Shiver on the River Walleye Contest will take place from January 28th at 6am through February 11th at 8pm. All fish must be weighed in at Gander Mountain 2270 Tittabawassee Saginaw, MI. Over $5,000 in prizes will be awarded plus the first fish weighing in at 7.11 pounds will win the Wally Award which includes a $100.00 Gander Mountain Gift Card, $100.00 7-Eleven Gift Card and a Free Fish Mounting provided by Ron Acker Taxidermy.
