Final game of the year washed out

Burlington, IA - The final game of the 2018 season for the Clinton LumberKings was called due to unplayable grounds on Monday afternoon at Community Field. Heavy rains had proved too much for the field in Burlington and the game was called approximately one hour after the scheduled start time.

The LumberKings will end their season with a 69-70 record for the year and a 30-39 mark for the second half. The Bees will finish their season 50-84 for the year with a 20-45 record in the second half.

The Clinton LumberKings will be back in action next on April 4th in Geneva, Illinois to open the 2019 season with the Kane County Cougars. The LumberKings will open their home schedule in 2019 on April 6th against the Cougars.

The Clinton LumberKings will be auctioning off their August 5th Margaritaville jerseys in an online auction shortly following the end of the regular season.
