Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release
DUBUQUE, Iowa - Through the generosity of CN - Canadian National Railway Company and its operating railway subsidiaries - the Fighting Saints are pleased to be able to offer a number of tickets to local non-profit organizations wishing to attend Fighting Saints games with the CN Community Ticket Program. The tickets will be used to enhance the lives of underprivileged and at-risk youth, the medically dependent or disabled, and senior citizens.
CN spans Canada and mid-America, from the Atlantic and Pacific oceans to the Gulf of Mexico, offering rail, trucking, warehousing, and distribution services. The company is actively engaged in the communities in which it does business, both on sustainability and community assistance projects, such as with the Fighting Saints. CN's trains run through Dubuque, which connects the rest of the CN lines to the entire state of Iowa and the company's North American network.
Keith Creel, CN Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, said: "We are very pleased to be working with the Fighting Saints to offer the less-fortunate an opportunity to participate in a community activity that they otherwise might not be able to afford. We are committed to giving back to the communities we serve."
To request tickets, representatives of eligible non-profit organizations may send an email to cn@dubuquefightingsaints.com with the following information: the name and purpose of the organization, contact information (including a phone number) for the organization, and the organization's preferred game to attend. Tickets must be used for the population served by the organization, not for staff rewards or incentives (understanding that some staff will need to accompany the group to the game). School and church groups are not eligible to participate.
