RE-CAPPING: The Ice went 1-2-0 last week with a victory over Sioux Falls on Friday followed by back to back setbacks to USHL-leading Green Bay on Saturday and Sunday. Alex Barron and Christian Hilbrich each posted a goal and an assist and Jon Gillies made 33 saves in Friday's 4-1 win over the Stampede. Green Bay scored three goals in the middle frame to upend the Ice 5-1 on Saturday as Daniil Tarasov scored the lone goal for the Icemen. On Sunday, it was a closely-contested game but the Gamblers held on for the weekend sweep with a 4-2 decision. Sean Kuraly led Indy with a goal and an assist.

SEANY BOY: Sean Kuraly's shorthanded goal in Sunday's game against Green Bay was his fifth all-time in an Ice uniform tying him with former winger Greg Squires-WMU (2006-08) for most shorthanded goals in franchise history. Kuraly also enters this week's action on the heels of a five-game point streak that includes six goals and three assists.

CHAMPIONSHIP PEDIGREE: The Ice acquired forward John Doherty on Saturday from the Dubuque Fighting Saints in exchange for forward Cody Bradley. Doherty was a member of the Saints' 2011 Clark Cup championship team and posted four goals and four assists in 17 games this year in Dubuque.

TEAM CUBES: Daniil Tarasov, who is second in the USHL with 26 points, reached the century mark for points in an Ice uniform with an assist on Friday...Jon Gillies has made 179 saves in his last five starts in net and is tied for first among league goaltenders in wins (10) and is tied for third in SV% (.916)...Cody Gylling scored his first USHL goal on Sunday...Christian Hilbrich has points in three of his last four games...Alex Barron is tied for second among USHL d-men in points (13)...The Ice has been awarded 13 power plays in their last six games, while their opponents have been awarded 27 power plays...Indiana remains the top unit on the power play in the league (31.8%) and is second in goals for/game (3.55).

ON CAMPUS: Robert Martini (07-08) had three points for Niagara in two games against Bentley...Shane Berschbach (08-10), Anthony Bitetto (08-10) and Ben Blood (07-08) registered three points apiece in two-win weekends for Western Michigan, Northeastern and North Dakota respectively.
