
Fiddler's Homecoming a Success for Hitmen

Prince Albert, SK - Tyler Fiddler scored twice in his hometown while Brandon Glover made 41 saves to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 6-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders Friday night at the Art Hauser Centre.
The win was Calgary's second straight and third in their last four games.
It was the Raiders who opened the scoring as Igor Revenko put the home side in front before Calgary struck for two goals 54 seconds apart, one from Jaynen Rissling, the other from Fiddler, to build a first period lead of 2-1.
Brooks Macek and Ben Wilson on a penalty shot extended the Hitmen lead to 4-1 after forty minutes.
Fiddler with his second goal of the night and Cody Sylvester scored in the third period for Calgary before the Raiders Jonathan Parker rounded out the scoring.
Prince Albert outshot Calgary 43-39. The Hitmen went 0-1 on the powerplay while killing all five PA chances.
Calgary, 11 points behind Prince Albert for a playoff spot, heads to Saskatoon to open a home and home series with the Blades tomorrow night in Saskatoon.
Brayden Schenn and the Blades then make the return trip to Calgary on Tuesday for a 7:00 p.m. start at Scotiabank Saddledome.
