Indiana Fever News Release
NEWS & NOTES
- In helping lead the East to its second straight win in the WNBA All-Star Game, Tamika Catchings had 15 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. She is the first player in All-Star Game history to have at least seven points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the same game. One of Catchings' assists was on a field goal by Fever teammate Anna DeForge that gave the East a five-point lead with less than 40 seconds remaining.
- With its win at Houston on Tuesday, July 10, the Fever extended its road winning streak to a franchise-record tying three in a row. Two of those wins came in arenas where the Fever had never won previously. Indiana won for the first time ever in both Los Angeles' STAPLES Center and in Houston's Toyota Center.
- Indiana headed into the All-Star break with a franchise record five-game winning streak, the longest active streak in the WNBA.
- The Fever has outscored its opponents in the paint in each of the last five games and in that span has scored 166 points in the paint to the opposition's 108 points in the paint. The Fever has scored 30+ points in each of those five games, compared to just four games of 30+ points in the paint in the first 14 outings. Indiana outscored its foe in the paint just six times in the first 14 contests.
- An All-Star starter for the first time in her career, DeForge headed into her All-Star experience having hit 12 of her last 17 attempts from 3-pt range, including 3-3 against the Liberty on Thursday, July 12. DeForge is sixth in the league with a mark for the season of 42.6 percent from behind the arc.
- With two steals and no turnovers against the Liberty, July 12, Tully Bevilaqua moved up to third in the league with a steals-to-turnover ratio of 1.08:1. That is the best ratio (among those qualified for the league leaders) in the Eastern Conference.

QUOTABLE QUOTES
Fever Head Coach Brian Winters following the team's win in Houston, July 8:
"I have a good team, good veteran players and a lot of depth. They've done a good job all year long, and when we've needed a big play in crucial situations, we've had different people step forward. No victories are easy in the WNBA, particularly on the road. It is especially comforting to have some adversity away from home and still get a victory. Our last two games on the road have been tough and tight. Hopefully, that's a good sign for us, and something that will help us later down the road."
UPCOMING GAME PROMOTIONS
