
Feliciano to DL; Raines to Harrisburg

The Harrisburg Senators announced today that OF Jesus Feliciano has been placed on the disabled list effective today. To fill Feliciano's spot on the roster the Senators will receive Tim Raines Jr. from the Vermont roster.
Feliciano was hit on the hand while attempting to bunt in the game on Sunday afternoon. He was batting .228 with 1 HR and 11 RBIs in 45 games this season. Feliciano spent much of last season with the Senators and had a team high 17 game-hitting streak in 2005.
The 26-year-old Raines was originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the sixth round of the 1998 draft. He played with Baltimore on three different occasions, appearing in 7 games in 2001; 20 games in 2003; and 48 games in 2004 and he has .213 batting average with 0 HR and 7 RBI's in the big leagues. He spent all of 2005 with Ottawa, the Orioles AAA team and batted .254 with 6 HRs and 42 RBIs in 122 games.
With the moves today, the Senators roster stands at 22 active players.
