FC DALLAS TRAVELS TO L.A. FOR FIRST EVER MATCH AGAINST CHIVAS USA:

FC Dallas will head to Los Angeles, California to take on Chivas USA at the Home Depot Center on Saturday, April 16 at 9:00 p.m. (CST). After hard fought 0-0 tie in Colorado, the team will look to keep the top place of the western conference as they face Chivas USA, who earned its first point in MLS history with a 3-3 tie in San Jose last Saturday. This will be the first of four matches between FC Dallas and Chivas USA this season with the other three meetings coming on May 22 (Home Depot Center), June 22 (Cotton Bowl) and August 27 (Frisco).

The match will be televised on Fox Sports Net Southwest with Brad Sham on play-by-play and FC Dallas Assistant Coach Bryan Haynes providing color analysis as well as on HDNet. It can also be heard on English Radio (KFCD – 990 AM) and on Spanish Radio (Radio AYO – 1540 AM).

Saturday, April 16 Match: FC Dallas (1-0-1) @ Chivas USA (0-1-1) 9 p.m.

Sunday, April 17 Match: FCD Reserves (0-0-0) @ Chivas USA Reserves (1-0-0) 12 p.m. (CST)

FC DALLAS RESERVES TO PLAY FIRST MATCH OF THE SEASON: FC Dallas Reserves will play its first match of the season as they take on Chivas USA Reserves at the Home Depot Center on Sunday, April 17 at 12:00 p.m. (CST). Starting in 2005, each of the 12 MLS teams will field a reserve division team and play a 12-game schedule (six home, six away) during the season. All teams will play a minimum of seven opposing reserve division teams at least once throughout the year. The reserve division standings will consist of a single table with the team that finishes in first place at the end of the regular season earning the title of reserve division champions.

FC DALLAS ON KFCD: Please join us this week for the weekly FC Dallas Radio Show with Ray Canevari on KFCD 990 AM. "FC Dallas Weekly" airs every Thursday from 6 – 7 p.m. on KFCD. This week, Canevari is scheduled to have interviews with Head Coach Colin Clarke, newly acquired defender Greg Vanney as well as FC Dallas color analyst and former Dallas Burn Head Coach Dave Dir.
