FC Dallas News Release
DALLAS, Texas - FC Dallas Interim General Manager John Alper announced today that tickets for Game Two of the club's Western Conference Semifinal series against the Colorado Rapids are now on sale. This will be the final game of the two-game, home-and-home, aggregate goal playoff series that will determine one of the two participants in the Western Conference Final to be played on Saturday, November 5.
FC Dallas will host Colorado, against whom they had a 2-0-2 record this season, in Game Two of the series on Saturday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Pizza Hut Park. You can purchase tickets for this game by calling 888-FCD-GOAL or by visiting the team's official website www.fcdallas.net.
Game One of this series will be played on Saturday, October 22 at INVESCO Field at Mile High in Denver beginning at 8 p.m. (CDT). This match will be televised live on UPN 21 beginning at 8 p.m. You can also listen to this game live on the radio on KFCD 990AM with Ray Canevari in English and in Spanish with Carlos Alvarado and Jesus Padilla on Radio AYO 1540AM.
In the instance that the FC Dallas-Colorado series is tied on total goals at the end of regulation of Game Two, the series will be decided by 30-minutes (two 15-minute halves) of Extra Time, played in its entirety. If the score remains level, the match will be decided by penalty kicks.
If the Hoops are able to advance past Colorado in the Conference Semifinals, they will advance to the single game Western Conference Final against either San Jose or Los Angeles. If San Jose were to advance from that series, it would host Dallas at Spartan Stadium on Saturday, November 5 at 9 p.m. (CDT). If the Galaxy are able to upset the top seeded Earthquakes, they will travel to Pizza Hut Park for the Western Conference Final, also to be played on Saturday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m.
FC Dallas, a charter member club of Major League Soccer, began play at Pizza Hut Park, a new 20,000 seat soccer stadium, on August 6, 2005.
