
FC Dallas Midfielder Mauro Diaz Scheduled for Procedure Next Week

FRISCO, Texas (Wednesday, May 7) - FC Dallas midfielder Mauro Diaz will have a procedure on his right knee Tuesday in Dallas. Diaz is expected to return in six to 10 weeks.
The 23-year-old Argentine has appeared in 18 MLS games, including 13 starts. Through the first eight games of 2014, he has scored three goals and tallied three assists, earning MLS Player of the Month honors for March.
FC Dallas faces Seattle Sounders FC in Seattle tonight with a 9 p.m. CT kickoff slated at CenturyLink Field. The match will air live on Time Warner Cable Sports. On Saturday, the Dallas side continues its West Coast swing with a 9:30 p.m. CT kickoff at Buck Shaw Stadium versus the San Jose Earthquakes. FC Dallas returns home to host Chivas USA at Toyota Stadium on May 17 at 7:30 p.m. on TXA 21.
