FRISCO, Texas - The FC Dallas Foundation has teamed up with Nickelodeon, the Women's Sports Foundation and AdvoCare International, LP to celebrate females in sports with GOAL (Girls On Another Level) Week during the women's Olympic Qualifiers Feb. 8-15 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco.

"When we found out the U.S. Women's National Team would be playing Olympic Qualifiers here at Toyota Stadium, I thought what a great platform to encourage conversations, not only with young girls themselves, but with the community as a whole," said FC Dallas Foundation Director Melissa Reddick. "The message has to come from all of us that they can do these amazing things if they set their minds to it. There are no limits."

The week's festivities will kick off with Nickelodeon's Soccer Superstar Showcase at Toyota Soccer Center Tacoma Field 10, starting at 3 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 8. Hosted by former professional soccer player and three-time Olympic Gold Medalist Heather Mitts, the series follows the search across the U.S. for a rising female soccer player. Girls ages 15-18 can pre-register to compete by sending their name, age and designating their location as Frisco, Texas, to info@soccerstar2016.com. National Soccer Hall of Famer Marcelo Balboa and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Angela Hucles will join Mitts as judges for the showcase. For more information, visit fb.com/soccersuperstarusa.

On Tuesday, Feb. 9, the FC Dallas Foundation will host a GOAL Week Breakfast at the River Club presented by WinStar World Casino & Resort at Toyota Stadium. Hucles, who was both a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist for U.S. Soccer and a two-time World Cup Bronze Medalist, will speak at the breakfast. Tickets are $30 for an individual and $500 for a table of eight and can be purchased at www.igivehere.org/fcdallas. Proceeds benefit the Women's Sports Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to creating leaders by providing girls access to sports. Hucles currently serves as president of the foundation.

Olympic Qualifying matches kick off at Toyota Stadium at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, with a doubleheader featuring Puerto Rico vs. Mexico, followed by the U.S. vs. Costa Rica. Matches continue on Saturday with Puerto Rico facing Costa Rica at 12:30 p.m., followed by U.S. vs. Mexico at 3 p.m. The final day of matches is Monday, Feb. 15, as Costa Rico faces Mexico at 5 p.m., and U.S. takes on Puerto Rico at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for all matches are available now, starting at $35 per day.

At 4 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 12, GOAL Week rolls on with a private clinic, presented by AdvoCare, for the Boys and Girls Club at The Salvation Army, 3528 14th St., Plano, which is the future site of the FC Dallas Foundation's fourth community field, set to open later this year.

Finally, on Sunday, Feb. 14, the FC Dallas Foundation is hosting a 7v7 indoor all-female tournament at The Pit, 7255 Meadow Hill Dr., Frisco, starting at 8 a.m. Prizes will be given to the winning team in each category, U8 to U14. All participants receive a t-shirt and refreshments. Registration begins at $275 per team and forms are available at www.igivehere.org/fcdallas. Proceeds benefit the Women's Sports Foundation.
