FC Cincinnati Academy Represented at U.S. Soccer Camp
March 15, 2023 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
FC Cincinnati News Release
This past weekend, FC Cincinnati Academy players represented the Orange and Blue at the second U.S. Soccer U-14 Talent ID Mini-Camp of 2023 held in Bradenton, Fla. at IMG Academy.
Booker Gifford, David Brimmer and Owen Chapman were three of 80 U-14 players invited to the camp from the Central, Mid-America, South and Southeast regions.
The two-day event, led by Garrett Biller, Talent ID Manager for the Central Region of U.S. Soccer and other U.S. Soccer staff, was held in line with the ongoing objective to expand and improve the Men's National Team player pool.
The Bradenton camp mirrored that of the west regional camp held this past February out in Chula Vista, Calif. The camps unique format helps to evaluate and inspire high-potential players while accelerating their development.
