Omaha Storm Chasers News Release

OMAHA, NE ‚¬" Thanks to a surge of excitement following the announcement of the Werner Park naming rights on November 11 and new Omaha Storm Chasers branding and logos on November 15, the club is pleased to announce that all 12-game Mini-Plans have been sold out for the 2011 season. In addition, strong online merchandise sales boosted the team's November sales numbers by a whopping 475 percent from a year ago.

During the month of November, the Storm Chasers placed among the top five of all teams on Minor League Baseball's e-commerce platform, especially strong figures considering the team name announcement did not take place until halfway through the month.

"The demand for Omaha Storm Chasers gear has been overwhelming since the team announcement and release for sale of merchandise on November 15th ," said Martie Cordaro, Storm Chasers Vice President and General Manager. "The forecast is great for the holiday season."

Fans still have plenty of opportunities to buy tickets and apparel, despite the impressive numbers. Season Tickets, Half-Season Plans and 20-game Mini-Plans are still available through the Storm Chasers ticket office, while merchandise is being continually replenished in anticipation of the club's 2010 Holiday Sale at Rosenblatt Stadium from Friday, December 10 through Monday, December 13.

In addition, fans will have the opportunity to purchase 7-game Holiday Mini-Plans, an affordable option for seating in brand-new Werner Park during the 2011 season. During the entire month of December, shoppers may purchase two tickets in this 7-game plan for just $88, with additional seats just $44. Seats will be located in the AT&T Home Run Porch in left field, and include Opening Day on April 15, 2011. Holiday Mini-Plans are on sale at www.omahastormchasers.com through December 31.
