
Fans Asked to Loan Artifacts from Omaha Franchise's History

Omaha Storm Chasers News Release
PAPILLION, NE - As Omaha Storm Chasers' 50th season celebration presented by First National Bank continues, the organization is reaching out to fans in helping tell the many stories of the team's history dating back to 1969. The Storm Chasers organization will be displaying artifacts and memorabilia from various eras in franchise history as part of the four remaining Flashback Weekends at Werner Park.
Fans are asked to temporarily loan items to the Storm Chasers organization for display during the Flashback Weekend exhibits at Werner Park in the Buffett Boardroom. All donated items will be returned to their owners after the exhibits take place. Fans may drop off the items for display by visiting the Bill Gorman Administrative Office at Werner Park during open office hours.
The dates for the remaining Flashback Weekends are below, with the eras listed.
May 25-27: 2000-10 Omaha Royals
June 22-24: 1990-98 Omaha Royals and 1999 Omaha Golden Spikes
July 20-22: 1980-89 Omaha Royals
August 24-26: 1969-79 Omaha Royals
In addition, fans may also submit their memories of Omaha baseball at Rosenblatt Stadium and/or Werner Park by visiting www.omahabaseball.com. Photos from the franchise's 50th season, along with significant events dating back to the 1969 season are also listed.
The Storm Chasers conclude their current homestand versus the Iowa Cubs this evening at Werner Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm CT.
Tickets are still available for that game and all Storm Chasers contests throughout the 2018 season, and may be purchased at www.omahastormchasers.com/tickets as well as by calling the Werner Park Ticket Office at (402) 738-5100.
