- Springfield is 9-0-1 when leading after two periods of play.

- The Falcons have won three of the last four home games.

- Springfield reached single-game highs in penalty minutes per game with 27 on Friday and 31 on Saturday.

- The Falcons are 9-2-1 when scoring the first goal of the game.

- Springfield is undefeated when leading after the first period on the road going 3-0-0.

Player Notes:

- Jon DiSalvatore scored his first goal as a Falcon on Saturday night.

- Greg Carey has averaged a point-per-game in the month of December with eight points in eight games (three goals, five assists).

- Corey Potter had a three-game assist streak snapped on Saturday night totaling three assists in that span.

- Ross Mauermann tallied his second multi-point game on Saturday with one goal and one assist.

- Jon DiSalvatore has tallied five points (one goal, four assists) in his last six games.

- Domenic Monardo scored his second career game winning goal on Saturday.
