Wednesday, Dec. 16 - PENGUINS 3 at Lehigh Valley 0

Tristan Jarry earned his second consecutive shutout as the Penguins improved to 3-1-0-0 against the Phantoms this season. Clark Seymour scored his first AHL goal 9:54 into the first period. Bryan Rust also netted his first goal of the season for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Friday, Dec. 18 - PENGUINS 3 vs. Toronto 4 (SO)

A match-up between the top two teams in the league went the distance with Nikita Soshnikov scoring the shootout's only goal to give Toronto the win. Seymour scored for the second game in a row. Toronto earned three shorthanded goals in 2:34 to erase a 3-0 deficit in the third period. It was the first Penguins game to reach the shootout this season.

Saturday, Dec. 19 - PENGUINS 3 at Syracuse 0

Brian Foster made 30 saves, including one right at the final buzzer, for his first career AHL shutout and first win with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. It was the Penguins' fourth shutout in five games. Will O'Neill potted his first goal since Oct. 17.

The Week Ahead

Saturday, Dec. 26 - PENGUINS at Hershey

The Penguins go back to Giant Center for the second time this season with a 2-1-0-0 edge in the season series. In its last visit to Hershey, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton fell 4-1. The Bears saw a seven-game home winning streak snapped on Sat, Dec. 19 by Toronto, but responded on Sunday with a 5-4 OT win vs. Syracuse.

Sunday, Dec. 27 - PENGUINS vs. Lehigh Valley

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Lehigh Valley meet for the fourth time in the month of December for an evening match-up at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza. The Phantoms haven't scored against the Penguins in 120:21.

Ice Chips

- Clark Donatelli was announced as Penguins head coach on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Jay Leach, who went 3-0-0-1 with the interim tag, will remain on the Pens' staff as associate coach.

- Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has not allowed an even strength goal since Dec. 9 vs. Syracuse, a span of five games.

- Tristan Jarry's shutout on Wednesday gave the Penguins their third shutout in a row for the first time in team history. Jarry's personal shutout streak is active at 144:02.

- The three shorthanded goals given up to Toronto on Friday was the first time in Pens history that the team allowed three shorties in one game.
