Falcons Sign Fejes, Release Robinson

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons announced today that the team has signed forward Hunter Fejes to an Amateur Tryout Contract. In a separate transaction, goalie Josh Robinson has been released from a Professional Tryout Contract.

The 21-year-old Fejes registered 13-9-22 in 36 games with Colorado College this season. The 6-foot-1, 192-pound native of Anchorage, AK was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the sixth round (178th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

The 26-year-old Robinson posted a record of 0-3-0 with a .857 save percentage (SV%) and a 5.40 goals against average (GAA) in three games with the Falcons. The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Frankenmuth, MI also played in 27 games with Missouri (ECHL) recording a 25-0-1 mark with a .928 SV% and a 1.85 GAA.

The Falcons conclude their home stand on Wednesday night when they host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the MassMutual Center at 7:00 p.m. for Winning Wednesday. When the Falcons win, all fans in attendance may redeem their ticket for a free ticket of equal or lesser value to game on Sunday, March 20.
