Fresno Falcons News Release

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons will open the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs on Tuesday and Wednesday, Apr. 11 and 12, at Save Mart Center at 7:30 p.m. Single-game tickets are available now at Save Mart Center's box office and all Ticketmaster outlets beginning as low as $10. Twelve-game playoff packages start at $120 for non-season ticket holders and can be purchased through the Falcons offices by calling (559) 485-PUCK (7825).

The Falcons clinched the ECHL's Pacific Division regular season title with Monday's 4-3 overtime victory against the Victoria Salmon Kings and guaranteed themselves home-ice advantage through at least the first two rounds of the post-season. Their opponent in the best-of-seven first round series will be the fourth-place finisher in the Pacific Division, which has not yet been determined. Once Fresno learns whether it will face the San Diego Gulls (most likely), Bakersfield Condors, or Long Beach Ice Dogs, the rest of the first round schedule will be announced.
