Falcons Game Notes (PDF)
IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Springfield Falcons return home to host the Manchester Monarchs on "Movember Night presented by Baystate Health" at the MassMutual Center, with the opening face-off set for 7:00 p.m. The Falcons finished off their four-game road trip on Friday, dropping a 6-5 overtime decision to the Portland Pirates. Despite the loss, the Falcons earned a point and prevailed from Friday's action alone in first place in the Eastern Conference standings. Tonight's game is the first of six between the Falcons and Monarchs in 2012-2013, and Springfield and Manchester bring two of the league's top four defenses into the action. The Falcons are second in the AHL at 1.93 goals against/game, while the Monarchs are fourth at 2.31 goals against/game.
The first 1,000 fans into tonight's game will receive mustaches as part of an effort to generate awareness of prostate cancer and other men's health issues on Movember Night. Fans can donate to Movember on behalf of the Falcons by clicking here.
Fans can also take advantage of Small Business Saturday at tonight's game. This program offers fans the opportunity to receive a $25 statement credit when they spend at least $25 or more at the Falcons Nest Pro Shop during the contest using their eligible American Express Card.
How does it work?
- Enroll an eligible American Express Card online at ShopSmall.com prior to making an in-person purchase at the Falcons Nest Pro Shop tonight.
- Use your enrolled American Express Card to spend $25 or more in a single purchase at the Falcons Nest Pro Shop at the MassMutual Center.
- Get a one-time $25 statement credit for that transaction from American Express within eight weeks.
Please note that each American Express Card is limited to one $25 statement credit for Small Business Saturday, so any preceding purchase made at another establishment participating in the program will nullify a credit from a Falcons Nest Pro Shop transaction. Enrollment is limited, so fans are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to take advantage of this program. Prepaid and corporate cards are not eligible for this offer. See ShopSmall.com/OfferTerms for complete program details.
Fans can also win a free bicycle tonight courtesy of Gus Coelho Auto Repair in Ludlow as part of a year-long "Cycle Saturday" promotion.
The Falcons finish out the weekend tomorrow at home against the Connecticut Whale at 3:00 p.m.
Single-game tickets to see the Falcons in 2012-2013 can be purchased at the MassMutual Center Box Office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. through game time on Saturday home dates, and starting four hours prior to Sunday home contests. Fans can also purchase tickets by logging onto Ticketmaster.com. For information about discounted group packages to Falcons home games, call (413) 739-GOAL (4625).
SAVARD EXTENDS STREAK

FIERY FIRST
The Falcons extended their wide goals advantage in the first period to 22-6 on the season after scoring twice in the opening 20 minutes on Friday.
POWERED UP
