Falcons Complete Camp Roster with Signing of Hemingway

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that they have signed right-wing Brett Hemingway to a contract for the 2007-08 season. Hemingway's signing brings the training camp roster to 28 in time for the first on-ice workout on Friday morning.

A seventh-round draft choice of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Hemingway enters his first pro season after playing four years at the University of New Hampshire. In 150 career games with the Wildcats, the 24-year-old tallied 61 goals and added 73 assists for 134 points.

In addition to the 28 players on the Falcons' training camp roster, three more players signed by the club remain on AHL rosters for that league's opening weekend this weekend. Center Josh Prudden and right-wing Josh Ciocco are with the Worcester Sharks, while defenseman Jerramie Domish is with the Rockford Ice Hogs.

The Falcons complete training camp roster is as follows:

Goaltenders (3) - John Ceci, Sebastien Centomo, and Ryan Lowe

Defensemen (10) - P.O. Beaulieu, Chris Eade, Dan Glover, Tyler Kindle, Kenny MacAulay, Daryl Marcoux, Matt O'Dette, Justin Sawyer, Mike Self, and Joe Van Culin

Forwards (15) - Kenny Bernard, Jason Bloomingburg, Luke Curtin, Igor Gongalsky, Dwayne Hay, Brett Hemingway, Matthias Iberer, Jarrett Konkle, Brady Leisenring, Brett McConnachie, John Morlang, Matt Quinn, Matt Radoslovich, Mike Ramsay, and Daniel Torres

The Falcons open the 2007-08 season on Friday, October 19, hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. for an Opening Night Extravaganza, presented by Eye Q Vision Care. The first 1,000 kids 12 and under receive a replica Luke Curtin Falcons' jersey. Opening Night is also "Soccer Night in Fresno" and "Rally Around Citizens With Disabilities Night."
