Omaha Storm Chasers News Release

OMAHA – A night of exciting professional baseball and great Christian music is scheduled for this Saturday night, May 16, at Rosenblatt Stadium.

Faith and Family Night features a free concert (with a game ticket) by the popular Christian music group "Go Fish" following the Royals 6:05 p.m. game against the Fresno Grizzlies. The game and concert are presented by Hy-Vee, KGBI 100.7 FM The Bridge and Robert's Dairy.

Also, when the stadium gates open at 4:00 p.m. the first 1,500 fans will receive free mouse pads featuring a photo of Zack Greinke, regarded as the Kansas City Royals top prospect and one of the top pitching prospects in all of minor league baseball.

Ron Brown, former Huskers receivers coach and currently the statewide director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the co-director of Mission Nebraska, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

The night will also feature a Pastor Olympics, with pastors of participating church groups competing in on-field contests throughout the game. The winning pastor will receive four tickets to a Kansas City Royals game, overnight accommodations, plus $200 in spending money.

Group packages for the event are available with reserved seat tickets, which normally cost $8.00 on the day of the game, discounted to just $5.00 if purchased in advance. Fans may book a group outing by calling (402) 738-5105. Individual tickets may be purchased by calling (402) 738-5100.

A second Faith and Family Night is scheduled for Saturday, August 14.
