FRESNO – The Fresno Grizzlies Community Fund will be selling the Giants Entrees Cookbook in the Grizzlies Team Shop for a limited time.

Giants Entrees Cookbook is a collection of recipes from some of your favorite San Francisco Giants and their wives using their secret ingredients. Dishes include current Grizzlies pitcher Kevin Correia's Chicken Parmesan and former Grizzlies pitcher Jerome Williams' Shoyu Chicken. Other features are Jason Schmidt's Green Chili Verde, J.T. Snow's BBQ Baby Back Ribs, Felipe Alou's Mahi Mahi plus many more. The cookbook is a joint charitable project put together by the Giants Community Fund and the Giants Wives.

Proceeds from the sales of the Giants Entrees Cookbook will go to the California Transplant Network and the Step to the Plate Foundation in memory of Lori Gardner (1964-2003). A resident of Fresno and former Major League pitcher with the Giants, Mark Gardner is the current Giants' bullpen coach. Mark and Lori Gardner, along with former Major League Baseball pitcher Bobby Jones, started the Step to the Plate Foundation in 2000 to help families of organ transplant recipients. Since then, they have donated of $200,000 to help patients who could not have otherwise afforded treatment.

Stop by the Grizzlies Team Shop before June 23rd to purchase your copy of the Giants Entrees Cookbook for only $12 each. The Grizzlies Team Shop is open 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday on non-game days. On game days the Grizzlies Team Shop is open from 10:00 am until the gates open to the stadium. The Grizzlies Team Shop is also open on the weekend of all home games from noon until the gates open for the game.
