
Extravaganza of Fun Set for September 5th

LAKEWOOD, NJ - Summer might be winding down but BlueClaws Fun is cranking up! The BlueClaws are hosting a full Extravaganza of Fun before and during their game on Saturday, September 5th. The gates will open at 3:30 pm with that night's BlueClaws game scheduled for 7:05 pm against Delmarva (Orioles). From music to inflatable rides and much more, it's a great way to finish the summer in style at the ballpark!
Gates will open at 3:30 pm with a college football games shown on the BlueClaws brand-new 1,859 square-foot video board that will serve as the backdrop for the day.
There will be inflatable rides and games set up inside the ballpark (free with a game ticket), in addition to Dr. Bernard's Kids Zone, which will be free from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. The inflatables that will be set up include: Bungee Trampoline & Rockwall Combo, Forbidden Temple & Obstacle Course, Mechanical Bull and Defender Dome. There will also be a Dunk Tank and Petting Zoo from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.
Among the additional scheduled Fun:
Appearances and autographs from Buster, Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese.
Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns will play live music in the ballpark from 4:00 pm until 6:45 pm.
Happy Hour in the Coors Light WRAT Trap from 6:00 until the end of the 7th inning includes $1 Coors and Coors Light Drafts, $2 Coronas, and 1/2 price mix drinks.
Free Philadelphia Water Ice and Free Cotton Candy will be available from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.
Face Painting and Caricatures will be available (for an additional fee).
Team Autograph Signing before the game. "We wanted to do something special to finish out the summer and this day has something for everyone," said Chris Tafrow, the BlueClaws Senior Vice President of Business Operations. "It's doing to be a Clawsome experience for everyone!"
There is a Pre-Game BBQ & Pig Roast in the Outfield Picnic Area from 3:30 - 5:30 pm from which fans can purchase food including roasted pig, hamburgers, hot dogs, cole-slaw, macaroni salad, corn on the cob, salad, cookies, soda & water.
After the game, sleep over on the field as part of the first Buster's Super-Duper Slumber Party Extravaganza Bonzanza. Fans can watch a movie on the field after the game and then sleep over in tents (sleep-over passes are $10 per person). Breakfast will be served in the morning.
