GREENVILLE, SC-- The Asheville Tourists won their sixth straight game at Fluor Field on Thursday night with an 8-2 victory over the Greenville Drive. After winning the final three games of a four game set in Greenville back in July, Asheville took all three games of this series and did so by outscoring their Southern division rivals 20-6.

Jesus Tinoco made his third start of the season for the Tourists and once again he was dominant. Tinoco tossed six innings, allowed only one run, and recorded a personal best in an Asheville uniform with eight strikeouts. Blake Shouse pitched the final three innings in relief of Tinoco and earned his third save of the season.

Offensively, the Tourists gave Tinoco and Shouse plenty of run support. In the top of the second inning Nate Causey, lined an RBI single back up the middle to plate the game's first run. It was Causey's first at-bat with Asheville this season. Max George followed with an RBI single to make it 2-0.

In the fourth, Asheville broke the game open. Forrest Wall and Shane Hoelscher hit back-to-back two out RBI singles. Dom Nunez then blasted a three-run Home Run which gave the Tourists a 7-1 lead. Josh Fuentes added an RBI single in the seventh for good measure.

The Tourists next return home on Friday night to begin a six game homestand. Their first opponent is the Augusta GreenJackets and Friday's game will begin at 7:05pm.
