TACOMA, Wash. - Oswaldo Navarro singled home the game-winning run with two outs in the top of the 14th inning Saturday night as the Round Rock Express defeated the Tacoma Rainiers 2-1. The Express (50-71) snapped a five-game road losing streak and evened the series at a game apiece. Navarro, who played for the Rainiers in parts of each of the last four seasons, accounted for both Round Rock runs on the night. His two-out double in the top of the second scored Drew Locke for the game's first run. Tacoma tied the game in the on David Winfree's two-out solo homer.

Locke and Navarro hooked up again in the 14th. Locke opened the inning with a double, moved to third on an Anderson Hernandez groundout, and scored on Navarro's game-winning hit.

Casey Daigle (2-2) worked 3.0 scoreless innings on two hits and a walk to earn the win. Round Rock pitchers allowed only four hits on the night and shutout the Rainiers over the game's final seven innings. Starter Shane Loux tossed 4.0 innings of no-hit ball with a walk and two strikeouts but left the game prior to the start of the fifth inning. Roy Corcoran, Chris Sampson and Fernando Abad bridged the gap between Loux and Daigle. Express pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts.

Dan Cortes (0-1) took the loss, allowing a run on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts over 2.0 innings. Starter Blake Beaven allowed one run on four hits and a walk over 7.0 innings with five strikeouts.
