(WINDSOR, ONTARIO) Chris Commons dropped 29 points as the Windsor Express finished the 2013 portion of their schedule, squashing Ottawa 102-87.
At the half way point of the season, Windsor has posted a 14-6 record, a game behind the Brampton A's for first place in the NBL Central Division.
The current victory was also Windsor's third in a row and 5th in their last 6 games.
NBL scoring leader, Stefan Bonneau only played 25 minutes tonight due to an injury, but Darren Duncan had a solid all-around performance with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists.
Quinnel Brown added 16 for the victorious Express.
The Skyhawks got a game-high 31 points from Ryan Anderson, as they fall to 9-11.
The Express open the second part of their campaign on New Years Day in London at 2:00pm.
The next home game for Windsor is January 3rd at the WFCU Centre at 7:00pm against the Mississauga Power.
